# Update an Experiment

Update an experiment’s display name, description, variants, or story associations. The `name` field is immutable after creation. You can’t update completed experiments.

## Path parameters

-   `:space_id` (required) (number)
    
    Numeric ID of a space.
    
-   `:experiment_id` (required) (number)
    
    Numeric ID of the experiment.
