# Technical Requirements

## Storyblok application

The Storyblok application is provided as a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) that runs in modern web browsers. As such, it requires no installation or maintenance.

Updates, such as new features, improvements, and bug fixes, are rolled out by Storyblok continuously, with a strong focus on backward compatibility and stability. Significant changes are communicated in advance.

The Storyblok application runs on all modern web browsers. The Storyblok team is committed to supporting the two most recent versions of the following browsers:

-   Google Chrome
-   Mozilla Firefox
-   Apple Safari
-   Microsoft Edge
-   Brave

It is recommended to disable any ad or content blockers for `https://app.storyblok.com`.

## Storyblok APIs

Storyblok's APIs can be consumed by any modern system or technology that can make HTTP requests and process data. To facilitate this, Storyblok provides clients and SDKs for various technologies. Updates, such as new features, improvements, and bug fixes, are rolled out by Storyblok continuously, with a strong focus on backward compatibility and stability. Significant changes are communicated in advance. In the case of breaking changes, new major API versions are released.
