In our latest Stories from the Blok #10 Happy Holiday Harmonies, Thomas Peham (VP of Marketing @ Storyblok) walked us through an AI-assisted preview of what 2023 might bring to the marketing industry.

Thomas took us through a live experiment of AI tools to help build content centered around potential marketing trends for 2023. He began with ChatGPT to create a digital dialogue to generate ideas.
It returned a few familiar concepts: the importance of personalization, video marketing, content marketing, and influencers. With additional help from PlaygroundAI, Thomas also came up with a few potential titles.
The next step in the process was to plug these trends and relevant keywords into Jasper, an AI copywriting program – at this point, Thomas was generating AI ideas and trends with data from other AI services! It came back with many results, including those that centered on content marketing, tech stacks, and personalization. Finally, he sourced images from the AI service DALL-E.
After creating this content, Thomas reflected on the process: what does this mean for marketers, creators, and artists of the future? He views them not as replacements but as supportive tools to make life easier. They are simply new ways to get new ideas, images, and information to power projects, though he also saw a shifting future as the content AI landscape continues to evolve.
However, he also added that these programs expand far beyond content creation. For example, new tools exist to let Salesforce users improve lead generation. Even outside the marketing world completely, AI is evolving rapidly with popular programs like Chatbots or the currently popular Lensa.AI service. Concluding his presentation, Thomas confirmed that AI is starting to get some serious recognition in a very significant way.
